Hello tomorrow : a car for the blind !

In the US, hopeful experiments are flourishing to develop a vehicle that, in the coming years, let’s hope, could allow blind persons to transport themselves in safety and autonomously. Last summer, near Boston and the prestigious Massachussets Institute of Technology (MIT), a promising experiment took place at the Perkins School for the Blind. It was based on a laptop mounted on a golf cart. In the early 2000’s in the US, the National Federation for the Blind launched a Blind Driver Challenge to foster creativity in big tech companies an in the most innovative start-ups.
